Welcome, my new makeup tool
Received my parcel yesterday but totally forgotten all about it till today. Maklumlah, I've been pretty busy lately: 2 weddings, a birthday, a tea party and a blog design project to work on! But I'm not complaining at all. These are the projects that satisfy my hunger for new makeup and makeup tools. LOL
Like my new Makeup Geek stippling brush! Yay! :D
Got 'em directly from Marlena (Makeup Geek owner) all the way from USA. Well, since I have more money in PayPal than my local bank account (lol), it's only fair to shop online from overseas stores. :P
Also, I've been a fan of Marlena and her products since ...oh let me see, I can't remember! But it has been a while! Since she was a cute chubby woman to the woman she is today - lean, sexy and hot! (She's an inspiration!!)
I've tried the brush and I must say, I love it!! I'm actually thinking of getting my 2nd brush along with other newly-released products. Maybe some eyeshadows and eyeliners this time! :)

More pink loot! Muahahaha!
Well I must be crazy today, because:
* I just purchased a pink top off the internet
* It is 1 size smaller than my current size (to motivate my weight loss journey)
* It is quite pricey (top was not THAT pricey but the shipping is!)
But you have to understand WHY I did it..
Pretty kan??? Tiada jual di Malaysia niiiii!! (mau kasi senang hati)
And if you're wondering where I got it, sorry ar.. not gonna tell. Ha ha ha

Guess who just lost some weight?
ME!!!
So I woke up this morning, go pee-pee (hey, those pee-pee might add into the weight tau!) and went straight to the weighing scale, and ....wala!! I'm down 1.3kg!
Afreaking total of 1.3kg!!!!
I know it's a small number for most of you, but to lose 1.3kg in a span of 6 days is awesome enough for me! So calorie counting DOES work! :D :D :D
Not gonna post a 'before' 'after' pic just yet. The weight loss was so tiny, it doesn't show yet. But I put on a jeans this afternoon (mau keluar lunch bah) and Bunny was like, "Wah, ada orang pakai jeans!" (You see, since moving back to Sabah, I've never wore any jeans because the weather was SO HOT... also, my jeans a bit sempit already la for my big thigh). But, yeah, I wore a jeans today and Bunny noticed it. I can finally fit comfortably into my old jeans!
But then... reality hit. The moment we head for the door (and out of the comfort of air-cond), the hot weather striked and I stopped walking. Instead, I head for my bedroom and changed to a mini skirt. LOL. You'd be crazy to wanna wear a jeans in KK!
Anyway, I lost weight! That's the most important thing! Ha ha!!

How to save a life
Yesterday, we found a stray puppy at the back of a restaurant where we used to go for breakfast.
As you can see, there's a large wound on the back of the leg - which appears to be a slash wound from a sharp object. Like a machete. :(
And so we kept the puppy in a box, feed and nurse the wound (using iodine and some bandage). We also puffed some Agnesia powder all over the puppy, since the wound has started to smell from the infection.
Today, we took the puppy to Sabah Animal Medical Centre (SAMC) and was told by the vet that the nerve on the leg has been severely wounded. When the vet poked the wounded leg, the puppy doesn't seem to react to it - which only proved that the leg is 'dead'.
"The leg has to be amputated..", said the vet.
I instantly reacted (trying hard not to cry) by saying, "but how will the puppy live??"
"Okay bah. Saya pun ada 2 ekor kucing berkaki 3 di rumah. Kuat melompat-lompat lagi." (Translation: "It's ok. I have 2 cats at home who has only 3 legs. They're so active and love to jump around.")
To make story short, we paid for the medical bills despite not having much money left... but if it's to save a life, we don't mind the sacrifice...

In a word: Lonely
So the party's over. My brother's back to the big city. Bunny's been away for 4 days now so it's only me, and Chiko. And my family of course. It's so sweet of them to stay over and keep me company while Bunny's away, but I guess when you've gotten use to living with someone (like in this case, Bunny) and that someone is not around.. you'll miss them. Tho there are times when Bunny and I would quarrel or disagree (over small matter, most of the time) ..like that time when I got so so annoyed because we had to watch 'The Life of Pi' (when I actually wanted to watch the other movie - which I couldn't remember which. lol) I must say, it's those 'ugly' things that makes you closer to that person.
I remember the story that Bunny told me about the man who sat beside him on one of his flight to Kota Kinabalu, about a year ago. The man, a teacher, just lost his wife about a month before. This man, who's a total stranger to Bunny, mentioned that during his wife's lifetime, they often quarrel and fight over stupid things. Now that his wife's gone, it occurred to him that it was those fights that made him misses his wife the most. "Yang bergaduh-gaduh itu lah yang paling kita ingat...", was his exact words.
So I guess it's those fights and quarrels that made me think of him a lot these few days.
Anyway, Bunny's coming home tomorrow and I've already re-arranged his clothes in the closet. Tidied things up, neatly fold everything and aligned the clothes on the hangers according to size and length. Can't wait to see his surprised face tomorrow when he opens up the closet. :D
Still many hours more to go before I see him. I'm gonna do some reading before going to bed tonight. It's a book my brother accidentally left at home. Before he takes it back, I'm gonna read it up. Ha!
By the way, I changed my blog template again. Couldn't stand the natural shades of colors that I made last night. I guess, after all, I am a pastel color lover at heart and soul. Hope you like the new change!
