Am I going to ..... ?

I've been having my period for over 2 weeks now. (This is my first. Normally it'll be 3 days only) Am I supposed to worry?? Should I start writing down my will???

I searched for an answer from online these few days, and this is one of the many answers I found:

Every aspect of a women's cycle is sensitive to many changes from hormonal, uterine, ovarian, and blood issues. Having a long period 1 time is not really that concerning, but bleeding for more than 1 week multiple cycles requires an investigation. The bleeding you experienced is called Menorrhagia, meaning excessive menstrual bleeding at the normal time. I'll discuss some of the causes below. 1. Clotting disorders - If you have a blood clotting problem, it can manifest as heavy bleeding during your cycle. 2. Uterine fibroids - Very common benign uterine tumor. They may be removed if pregnancy is desired down the road, or removed through hysterectomy if no more children are desired. 3. Uterine polyps - These are small growths in the uterus that can bleed excessively 4. Adenomyosis - Growth of the inner lining of the uterus into the outer layer. Number one is diagnosed with simple blood tests. Numbers 2-4 can be diagnosed through imaging such as an ultrasound.

Guess I'll give it a few days more before going to the OBGYN. By the way, where's the OBGYN in KK? Never been to one...

  2. bukan yg tu, you know the Queen Elizabeth II? Last time the whole building was called SMC (sabah medical ctr) after the building taken by govt, half of the hospital is occupied by SMC and the other half is occupied by QE II). Not long after that, SMC was taken over by KPJ under acquisition. So, now there are 2 KPJ in Damai, one is attached with QE II and the other one is opposite Lotus. Dr Helen is in the QE II building (if no changes). I'll call first to check before I give you the number. Manatau pencen sudah.. lol

I never been to any of these specialist tho.

    So here's the info:
KPJ (Dr Krishen): Direct Line: 088-322095 QE II Building
Dr Bernardine Clinic: 088-725260 (Donggongon, beside Megalong)

Normally the doc will scan your womb before checking other part, so be prepare with the right clothing :D
